Life works wonders if you are open enough to surrender to the possibilities that are offered to you. Beatrix and David were, and this is their story.

Both are practicing Biodanza for quite a while, David in England and Beatrix in the Netherlands. Both trained as teachers with Patricia Martello (Director of several Biodanza schools all over the World), but never met before the English Biodanza festival in the summer of 2007.

There they meet just briefly, not having a clue that Cupid is making plans. He whispers to Cristina Arrieta (Director of Biodanza in Germany) to invite both Beatrix and David to give Vivencias during the German Biodanza festival two months later.

So, in Germany, they meet again, although they are not open for new romance. Beatrix is on the rebound and David is already in a relationship. This, however, doesn't prevent them from dancing together. And dance they do! For almost four hours they fool around on the dance floor, having a world of fun together. They leave Germany after they have said goodbye to each other with an embrace and that is it.

About one month later another henchman of Cupid sends them some pictures of their German dance adventure. This brings them in contact again. They agree it would be nice to meet again during one of the school weekends of Patricia in London.

Just after Beatrix booked her flight to London, she is offered a new place to live. Actually she doesn't really have time to go and meet David now. However, an inner voice tells her that she should not cancel her trip. So, in November, off she goes to meet David, with the prospect of experiencing a nice Biodanza weekend together as good friends.

David is waiting at the airport knowing he likes Beatrix but not letting his hopes get too high. Little do they both know what Cupid has in store for them. The doors between customs and the arrival area open and from a distance the eyes of Beatrix and David meet.

Before they know what is happening, they start running towards each other to overcome the 15 metres between them. Beatrix jumps into David's arms and then they find themselves kissing each other without any hesitation or restraint. They give the impression to the spectators around them that they are lovers that haven't seen each other for a long time.

Both are completely surprised by the love they feel running through their blood. After a wonderful weekend full of love and romance Beatrix goes back home to sort out her new place. David visits her a week and a half later.

Since then they are a couple. David moves to the Netherlands in the beginning of 2008. Beatrix and David experience it as a privilege to share their passion for Biodanza in their teaching together. They realise that it was especially through their Biodanza experience that they responded fully to the love arrow that Cupid aimed at them at the airport.
